Caravan is a solid 2man cruising skiff, simple and safe to use. For beaching, the boat rudder and centreboard can be raised. The beam of the hull is 1,4 meters, which provides a good amount of stability - you can still row it, or just attach an outboarder to the stern.
The gaff rig is simple, cheap, effective, and can be lowered in any condition.

Once the caravan is beached, the folding tent is set in no time, with a dry double berth underneath.

Method of construction: marine plywood, joints have to be glued and bolted/screwed; wooden mast.
